Lenten Adult Faith Formation Program
This Lent our parish will be participating in a great Program from Ascension Press and the beauty is you can enjoy this entire Program from the comfort of your own home!
This five-part program takes participants on an exciting tour of the Liturgy as it explores the biblical roots of the words and gestures we experience at Mass and explains their profound significance. See, perhaps for the first time, why we say what we say and do what we do every week at Mass. You will see the words and gestures in a new light, giving new life to the liturgical experience.
Each participant will receive their own book and study guide and have access to the weekly videos (for one full year after purchase). This allows participants to view the videos, as their personal time permits, in the comfort of their own homes. Each week during lent we will gather virtually (via Zoom) in small groups to review the workbook questions, discuss what we’ve learned and share your thoughts (if you’d like - no pressure). What a better way to prepare for Easter than spending time learning about the Mass and getting closer to Christ?
The link below provides more details and information about this Program. To participate, just go to the link and purchase the Study Set ($19.95), then register for our parish study group. If you could, please also send us an email confirming your registration. Don’t wait too long to sign up and order your material, our first session is only two weeks away on Tuesday February 23rd. More information to follow.
